MK Ladies 1s took on Wycombe, who at the start of the game, held 5th in the South Women’s Division 3A, two positions higher than the home team. With the weather creating a difficult playing environment MK started the game well and overall out performed Wycombe in the early stages, however, didn’t take advantage and remained level at the break.

Unfortunately the second half saw both teams struggle to create clear goal threatening chances. With a major injury blow for MK causing a team reshuffle Wycombe took advantage and started to apply pressure, which saw two goal line saves to keep the visitors out. MK managed to remain resolute at the back and kept hold of their clean sheet with the game ending 0-0. POM Laura Browne
